YOUR FAMILY, CONNECTED
Private owner device test — location reporting is enabled for securely paired, approved devices after local permission and Start. Stop sharing on the device or revoke it here to stop access. This service is not security audited or ready for public family use.
Checking your saved sign-in securely.
Use a password and an authenticator code. Initial setup is limited to this local development installation; it does not verify legal guardianship.
The 6-digit code is generated by an authenticator app. It is not sent by email or text. Open your authenticator, add an account by scanning this QR code, then enter the current 6-digit code shown in that app.
Keep these private and offline. Each can replace an authenticator code once when signing in. They do not recover encryption keys.

PRIVACY FIRST
Location decrypts on your guardian device. The relay stores ciphertext.
Reports show location estimates, accuracy and age. You can choose a street map or directions after a report arrives. Map providers receive coordinates only when you select those actions.
The browser app is the parent dashboard. Monitoring a child’s device requires the corresponding native companion; installing the dashboard does not grant device-monitoring permissions.
Use a flash drive you purchase yourself, or download directly to a compatible device. The drive holds installers and this guide only—never family keys, passwords, pairing codes or children’s reports.
Development packages only. Public parent registration and public monitoring have not launched. Use only your own authorized test devices.
Use Microsoft Quick Assist to view or control a Windows PC with approval from the person at that computer. This opens a separate Microsoft app; remote screen sharing is not embedded in ProTechtem.
No unattended access, automatic permissions or phone-to-desktop control is provided by this flow. Never enter codes sent by an unexpected caller.
Open Microsoft Quick AssistIf nothing opens, use the keyboard shortcut above. Microsoft setup and installation instructions
Save the setup guide to your drive. An iPhone does not install ProTechtem simply by opening an IPA from a flash drive. A signed Apple distribution link is needed; ProTechtem’s link is not available yet.
Accept confirms the disclosure. It does not verify guardianship, override system permissions or silently start monitoring.
Read the flash-drive setup guideUse fictional profiles while this development build is being tested. A nickname is encrypted in this browser before saving; no birth date or legal name is required. Creating a profile does not verify guardian authority or enroll a device.
Deleting a profile revokes its linked devices and deletes their stored reports.
Create a private invitation for one phone. Open it on your own phone or send it to your wife so she can choose to share her location. Each phone needs its own invitation and location permission.
Browser sharing works while the page is open and visible. Locked or closed phones cannot provide continuous updates through this page.
Creates a short-lived setup block with the relay address, pairing code and both public fingerprints. Keep the block private.
Complete this setup while the device is with you. Pairing cannot recover an unpaired or offline device in an emergency.
2. Create this browser’s encryption key below if you have not already. For Windows, also create the control signing key shown below.
3. Create a one-time pairing code, copy it into the companion, and compare the two guardian fingerprints shown here before confirming.
On the child’s device, show the sharing disclosure and obtain the required guardian consent. Compare fingerprints on both screens before approving. Codes expire after 10 minutes and work once.
Separate from your location encryption key. Create this before enrolling a Windows companion; compare its fingerprint on both devices. Existing enrollments do not gain remote-control access automatically.
Stored encrypted. Not phone-verified and not used for SMS sign-in or recovery.
Android: debug APK built; physical-device validation required. iPhone/iPad: simulator build and all five Apple XCTest cases passed; release signing and physical-device tests pending. Both use the same guardian dashboard. Screen Time needs separate Apple entitlements and is not implemented. Windows: self-contained development companion compiled and protocol tested. macOS: Intel/Apple silicon development companion compiled. Desktop physical-device tests and public release signing remain pending. App restrictions, screen-time schedules and remote assistance are not implemented on any platform. Headphones and other Bluetooth accessories: nearby presence only when supported, not independent live GPS.
